Dr. Gisselle Canahuati

Functional medicine focused on women's health and functional fertility — from PCOS, endometriosis and menstrual and hormonal regulation to preconception preparation and the path to a healthy pregnancy.

Dr. Canahuati is a Medical Doctor and Surgeon specializing in Obstetrics, having graduated from the University of Monterrey (UDEM). She holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physiology and Health Management from Southern Methodist University (Dallas). Her functional medicine training was provided through the Academy of Functional Medicine (AMF) in collaboration with Tecnológico de Monterrey, as well as the IFM's AFMCP program and advanced practice modules in cardiometabolism, the gastrointestinal system, immunity, and environmental health. She is certified in Integrative Fertility (Dr. Jaclyn Chasse, ND) and in fertility by A4M. She also holds a Diploma in Perinatal and Women's Nutrition (Anáhuac Mayab University) and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Hormonal Health, Fertility, and Pregnancy (Western Europe University, Spain). Her approach integrates evidence-based medicine, hormonal physiology, and functional medicine to identify and treat the root causes affecting ovulation, egg quality, thyroid and metabolic balance, and the hormonal environment necessary for healthy conception.
